We are an animal welfare organization based out of Illinois.  Don't Bully My Breed is dedicated to the welfare of bully breeds and other companion animals. Here are just some of the things we do…
  • Assist the public with spay/neuter
  • Fight against breed-specific legislation
  • Help other rescue organizations and/or individuals by courtesy posting their pets on our site
  • Screen applications for other organizations
  • Educate the public about responsible bully breed ownership
  • Combat dog fighting
  • Promote a positive image and understanding of all bully breeds

We do not have a central or shelter location. We place animals in homes throughout greater Chicagoland and Central Illinois (we would consider an out-of-state adoption if you are within 3 hours of us). We do not ship animals.

Nothing in Life is Free (NILF) helps dogs acquire better manners by teaching them that in order to get what they want, they must behave politely. In other words, nothing in life comes for free. Dogs have to earn things they want with polite behavior, just like we do when we say “please”!

Introduce NILF into your daily routines if your dog is currently engaging in behaviors that are rude or pushy, such as counter surfing, barking, whining, begging for food, pushing or grabbing items, nudging you for attention, digging, etc.

In addition to your training sessions, using NILF will help establish the house rules for your dog, whether they’re a new addition to your family or just in need a refresher course.
